(a) Agreed that the "SHIELD" convoy should
be diverted to Hong Kong and the follow up force to support it should be included in reinforcements to S.E.A.C.;
(e) Agreed that the "VACUUM" store ships
should be diverted to S.E.A.C., the personnel to be reconstituted to build up a balanced force and sailed east about to S.E.A.C. as soon as possible with the small additional amount of equipment required;
(f) Invited the Air Ministry to cancel
all other "TIGER" force movements and to inform the Canadian authorities and the Australian, New Zealand and South African Governments accordingly;
(g) Invited the Air Ministry to inform
C.-in-C. British Pacific Fleet and S.A.C.S.E.A. of the detailed composition of "SHIELD" and "VACUUM", as necessary;
(h) Instructed the Joint Planning Staff
to examine and report on the provision of shipping to meet the Australian requirements.
