(G) OC will then visit the camps deliver appropriatə messages and inform PCs of the general plans.

(H) Officers will then immediately embark on their duties of feeding clothing housing suggesting medical attention of POWs personnel for these duties batch includes interrogation of POWS and security measures have already

been briefed.

(I) Aircraft will be sent to Calcutta for second sortie under orders of RAF Liaison Officer such of the fighters as he may determine remaining in Hongkong for air patrol duties. Second sortie ex Calcutta will be first sortie plus three days third sortie first plus 6 days and so on till no longer required. These aircraft may then be used for transport to Colony of Civil Affairs Unit if no other means is initiated. On their return journeys to Calcutta they should be used for repatriating any high priority POW or internees or sick.

(J) Party will carry on till arrival of occupying forces for whose reception it will make arrangements. Party will hand over and come under command of occupying

forces on his arrival.

4. Administration.

(A) First sortie Calcutta lift will comprise 56,000 lbs K rations 25,000 lbs clothes and chaplies and 6,000 lbs medical stores (details to be signalled separately). suggest 100 BTS. This will require 15 Halifax.

(B). First sortie Kunming lift will comprise of all BinG and attached personnel plus all BAG and 136 stores available signal cipher equipment and 7 jeeps (RAF 6 and BMG).
