I particularly asked Miss Harrap about the Bank staff. She referred me to the list she had given the Censor's department here, which I was shown yesterday. Most of our staff do not appear on the list, but this only means that their condition was unknown to
She mentioned her and in no way implies that they are not safe. the following names as being definitely safe and well:-
Sir V.M. and Lady Grayburn.
Mr. and Mrs. Edmondston and daughter. Fenwick, Phillips, McClatchie, Dupuy, Mr. and Mrs. Foy and Day.
A 'D.L. Davis' figures on her list and this might be meant for 'D.C.Davis'. Among the names on her list stated as being safe
Mr. & Mrs. I noticed Morrison (our Director) Newbiggin, Champkin;
Of course it is many Dick Handcock did not appear on the list. years since I worked in Head Office, and only a very few names on the list were known to me.
If I hear anything further of importance about our Staff I will of course wire you.
