NEWS of the sickening atroci-

ties of the Japanese in Hong Kong has set every British man and woman a-quiver with horror and hate.

But to some of those in Eng- land is added a dread and a fear.

For the nurses left in the British Military Hospital at Hong Kong were their girls. their sisters, their friends.

Mother of the matron, Miss E. M. B. Dyson, is Mrs. L. Dyson, of Stratford - road. Frimley Green, Aldershot.

Last night Mrs. Dyson sald bravely to the Daily Mirror:-

“I have great hopes that everything will turn out all right, but I cannot sleep for thinking about her.”
