23. There are now 11 Chinese working in Stanley Gaol:

One electrician
One carpenter
These all live in the gaol and are only allowed to leave the gaol very occasionally.
One of the former cooks, now replaced, was beaten up and killed by the Japanese for stealing.
After the bombing of Hong Kong, rations for the Chinese staff were also considerably reduced.
24. Stanley Internment Camp. Internment Camp now includes:
