Source was in Stanley Gaol when these four British prisoners were admitted. . They told him that after their arrest they were not allowed water for 3 days and only a very small quantity of rice. All of them were badly beaten up and neerly died.

While Randall was in hospital, a Japanese officer occasionally gave him a little oatmeal, and before the Allied attack in October, the prisoners occasionally got a little extra food from the Japanese officers.
13. Source established contact between certain police officers in the Internment Camp and these prisoners and frequently smuggled in sweet stuffs and cigarettee.

), and were executed about September, and one other member of this Bank was sentenced to 10 years' gaol, name not known. It is believed that two of these men were brought. back under arrest from Sacao. The other three were old women, all aged about 60, who were gaoled. for eating human flesh. Executions were carried out somewhere in the hills away from Stanley. Indian prison warders were engaged to dig the necessary graves.

Following the institution of the black-cut about the beginning of November, all males in Stanley Internment Camp under the age of 35, excluding boys, were locked at night in "F" Hall of the prison, total about 246 men.
