No. 647.- His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint the following to be a Justice of the Peace for the Colony of Hong Kong:-

No. 648. It is hereby notified that Mr. WILLIAM JOHN ANDERSON resumed duty as Controller of Stores, with effect from 24th May, 1941.

No. 649.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased, under instructions from the Right Honourable the Secretary of State for the Colonies, to appoint Miss AGNES SLIDDERS TODD to be a Nursing Sister, on probation, with effect from 15th May, 1941.

No. 650.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to recognize Mr. GEOFFREY MISKIN, Honorary Consul for Sweden at Hong Kong, as being in charge of Hungarian and Rumanian interests in the Colony.

No. 651.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to approve that Captain FRANCISCO PAULO SEQUEIRA be allowed to resign his commission in the Hong Kong Volunteer Defence Corps, with effect from 23rd May, 1941.

No. 652.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to approve that Lieutenant THOMAS PARKINSON be allowed to resign his commission in the Hong Kong Volunteer Defence Corps, with effect from 31st May, 1941.

No. 653.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Mr. GEOFFREY ALTON CRAIG HERKLOTS, Ph.D., M.Sc., F.L.S., to be Scientific Adviser to the Controller of Food.
