You wrote to me on the 10th December about recoveries in respect of maintenance grants for Hong Kong evacuees in Australia.
The subject has become rather academic by now but I enclose to complete your records:-
(1) a copy of the Acting Governor's telegram No.600 of the 26th September 1940 which was sent in answer to our telegram ilo.510 of the 18th September 1940.(I sent a copy of this to right under cover of a letter dated 30th September but it was presumably lost in your move to Great George Street);
