NOTICE.
COLONIAL SECRETARY'S DEPARTMENT.
In exercise of the powers conferred upon him by the Emergency Powers (Colonial Defence) Order in Council, 1939, the Emergency Powers (Colonial Defence) (Amendment) Order in Council, 1940, and all other powers enabling him in that behalf, His Excellency the Officer Administering the Government hereby makes the following regulations-
The Defence (Entry Restrictions) Regulations,
1940.
1. These regulations may be cited as The Defence (Entry Restrictions) Regulations, 1940.
2.-(1) In these regulations--
(a) "competent authority" means the Commissioner of Police and includes any other officer appointed from time to time under any Ordinance for the time being in force to control immigration;
(b) "passenger" includes any person carried in a ship or aircraft other than the master, pilot and crew thereof;
