I think it will be possible to receive these evacuees but before answering other questions I would be obliged for further information as follows:-
(1) Are all evacuees to be received here British subjects?
(2) Would there be amongst them any aliens or British subjects whose movements it would be necessary to restrict?
(3) If no restriction of movement is necessary I might be able to billet them and avoid construction of camp.
(4) Are persons to be sent here to be responsible for their own maintenance? If not, billeting would be impractical and a camp would have to be constructed.
2. Assuming that Aziatic element in Eurasiane le Chinese or Indian, only conditions other than clean bill of health would be prohibition against engaging in any occupation likely to compete with the inhabitants of the Colony.
