I have examined the accompanying Ordinance intituled
an Ordinance to amend and consolidate the War
Revenue Ordinances of 1940.
2. Prints of the memorandum of Objects and
Reasons of the Bill for this Ordinance and of
the Table of Correspondence referred to in
paragraph 6 thereof are attached.
3. I am of opinion that the Ordinance is not
contrary to the Governor's instructions and that
it is one to which His Excellency may properly
assent in the name of His Majesty and on His
behalf.
