At the same time, we are of opinion that
the scheme is one of importance in post-war development and that it would be desirable on all counts to see a number of senior Chinese students in our Universities.
Apart from this scheme, the Council has been able, in consultation with the Chinese Embassy and other authorities, to make grunts to sono Chinese students in this country. I should, of course, bo most grateful for any advice or information that you may be able to give us in furthering this work and the Council is anxious in every way to co-operate with any other agency that may be building up relations with the Chinese în the cultural field.
Yours &c.,
(sd) B.I.EVAIKI.
