Junk was stopped off Lap Sap Mei & taken in tow to Tai Shan where the cargo was unloaded into lighters. They wore then compelled to take their junk on the beach & broak up the junk This junk was in toy by the 3/1 Tak Hog lying the Portuguese flag when stopped near Lin Tin. The trawler camed alongsido the launch & re vere escorted to Siu Man Shan where the crow vero put ashore.
When sailing near Lap Sap Hoi three Japanese travlers opened fire. The crew took to the sampan & vore again fired on. The sampan was then taken in tow by a trawler & later capsized throwing everyone into the water. Wong Mok Cui, who was wounded in
to the head managed to hold on the upturned saman & was ovun-· tually picked up & taken to Cheung Chau. Ho succumbed to his injuries in the Queen Mary Hosp. on 8.7.41.
