The Department has been informed by the Chinese Embasssy that the Chinese Government completely concurs in our memorandum of December 13th which was handed on December 19th to the mbassy and to the draft treaty and exchange of notes thereto attached. It was also stated by
the Embassy that the Chinese Governmen t agrees to the proposed signɛture in washington of the treaty on January 1,1943 which inter alia is the thirty- first anniversary of the establishment under Dr. Sun Yat-sen of the Pirat Provisional Government of the Republic of China.
