(iv) Medical Students at Lingnan University. Some fifteen Hongkong University fourth year medical students attached to Lingnan University are studying at the Methodist Mission Hospital, Kukong. Lingnan University has been unable to provide them with dormitory accommodation or lecture rooms but has appealed to us for CNg100,000 for this purpose. I am diffident about recommending this appeal, as the arrangement is a temporary one and will presumably cease when this batch of students have qualified. Hongkong University medical students
of other years attached to Lingnan University have been transferred to the National Chungching University in Kiangsi, where they will presumably complete their studies.
