I have been looking out the information which
you asked for in your letter to me of the 11th of January about some method of delegation by the Governor
in respect of signing routine documents.

1 very much sympathise with you over this and I hope
you will be able to free yourself of such papers.
enclose a note which has been prepared here and supplied
to me for you and also a copy of the Kenya Interpretation
and General Clauses Ordinance and I hope that Alabaster
will be able to work up something on this information
which will satisfy the needs.
