Further to my letter of the 21st March, I
* now enclose a copy of the publication referred to
in the second paragraph, which the Inland Revenue
people thought might be of help to you in solving
the problems of ascertaining the amount of profits
made in the Colony. It looks rather formidable but
at least shows that the matter has received some
attention in the past and should point the way to
various devices for establishing an allocation of
profits.
I should add that the Inland Revenue
representatives draw attention to Section 27 (5)
of the Model Ordinance contained in the Report of the
Inter-Departmental Committee of 1922, with regard to
entrepot trade.
