Part II. Provident Funds.

§ 29.
Contributory Provident Funds shall be instituted
for the permanent teaching staff of all schools in receipt
of recurrent Government grants.
Contributions to such funds
shall be optional for teachers who are members of religious
orders and congregations or of other missionary bodies, and
shall be obligatory for all other teachers.
§ 30.
The contributions of teachers shall be five per
Government cent of their salary and shall be made monthly.

§ 31.
All contributions to provident funds shall be paid into a common trust fund, the administration of which shall be vested in a Board of Control nominated by Government and including representatives of teachers who contribute.
§32.
Teachers who contribute to an approved provident
fund shall be required to rotiro on the same conditions in regard to age as in the case of teachers in Government schools, except in special cases with the mutual consent of the school manager and the teacher concerned, and subject to the approval of the Director of Education, provided that Government shall not make any contribution in respect of any teacher who has passed the age limit prescribed for the retirement of similar
teachers in Government service.
Part III. Capital Grants.
§ 33. A grant not exceeding one-half of the actual cost may be made towards the building of a new school or for extension or structural repairs to an existing school.
§ 34. The site, plans, estimates, specifications, title and trust deed shall be proviously approved by Government.
