TSANG TAI ON's statement attached.

He was

on board cargo boat No. 425Y, when it was seized in British

waters.

Cargo boats Nos. 2312V and 2233V with their crews

are at present in NAM TAU.

Please see further statement from WONG SAI SO

coxswain of Steam Launch KWAI HING, he states that four shots

were fired. TAM PING steerman of cargo boat 2233V in his

original statement said 3 shots were fired from the Japane se

motor boat. Has not been stopped before by Japanese.

LEUNG KA SO mistress of cargo boat No. 2312V in a

further statement states she heard a number of shots fired but

cannot say who fired, she adds that her boat has been

stopped on about 4 occasions by the Japanese off NAM TAU.

The crew of two sampans seized at LIN TIN have not

yet reported. Cargo on board cargo boat 265V has been

disposed of.

The same Japanese motor boat was used in the

attacks on cargo boats 265V and 425Y.

CHAN TONG in a further statement said, that about

25 minutes after his boat had been made fast to the Japanese

motor boat, the motor boat stopped another cargo boat

(No.265V) both vessels were then towed to LIN TIN.

CHAN CHOI states that cargo was removed from the
