junk when WLNG MUE drew my attention to a motor boat which
was approaching my junk from about 60 feet astern.
The motor boat had no port or starboard navigation lights,
only one white light at the bow. in seeing the motor
boat approaching WỀ NG MUK shouted out "A motor boat is
approaching". PANG FUT (

with several other members of the crew then came up on
deck. The crew of the motor boat then opened fire with
a machine gun. My master then shouted down to the cabin
and said "Hand up the arms and ammunition".

at the approaching motor boat. My master then put down
his rifle and went over to the cannon on the port side of
my jund and fired the cannon at the motor boat. The
motor boat then circled around my junk and steamed away
in the direction of LIN TIN (

I noticed the motor boat was flying the Japanese flag.
