Police Sergeant A.200 Davies,
on the 30th Cetober, 1989. I received from
you a part of an expended bullet for examination.
It is very hard to say what calibre this is.
I am of the opinion it is the inside of Firle or kachine gun bullet, either a 6.5 m/m or a 7.9 m/n from which the nickel covering has been torn off. This could be caused by the bullet striking wood or any
hard substance.
