I have been coxswain of Steam Launch KWONG HING

for two years.

On 21.1.40 my launch left PENG CHAU at 12.00 hours

for Shaukiwan towing junk No. T.1703H. Shauki wan there is no need for my launch to leave British Waters. I always take a course from PENG CHAU to Shaukiwan by sailing round about 2 miles on the West side of SHEK NGAU CHAU, then straight down the coast to FUNG HEAD across the mouth of FUNG BAY towards Conic Island.

I stopped the engines and the trawler came alongside the starboard side of the Steam Launch KWONG HING my position there was approximately 4 mile north east of Conic Island. The name on the trawler was YEUNG MUI MARU.
