One Steam Launch towing Junk T1703H seized inside Territorial Waters and taken to SAM MUN (C.T.), later released, no damage.

(Junk T1703H included in above).

One Steam Launch towing 2 lighters stopped by Japanese in Chinese Waters and forced to bring cargo, taken from Cargo Boats 425Y and 265V, to Hong Kong, no damage. Later cargo returned to original owners (Cargo Boats 425Y and 265V included in above). One case (not included in above), a Japanese trawler had a tow line on to a Junk in Chinese Waters but released it and steamed

away when a British submarine appeared. However, the junk master insisted he had asked the Japanese for a tow after being

disabled by Chinese Robbers.

In the case of one unlicensed cargo boat, four persons were taken away by a Japanese destroyer.
