I am the master of the above junk which left KIT SHEEK, HOI
FUNG (Long.115° 49′ E. Lat. 22° 48' 30" N.) at 14.00 hours on 14.9.40.

On 15.9.40. at about 08.00 hours my junk was sailing about

one mile west of SAM U customs (Long.114° 39′ 8. Lat. 22° 26'N.) About
one mile ahead of my junk I saw a Japanese trawler, painted grey, one
funnel and 2 maste towing a junk towards SAK LUN Customs. Another
trawlor, painted grey, 1 Summel, 2 mste and flying a Japanese Naval
flag at the stern, came towards my junk. I saw the nuber "6" painted
white amidships. Two Japanese dressed in khaldi uniform boarded my junk.
They were armed with truncheons. lly junk was tied to the stern of the
trawler and towed away towards BAN HUI Customs. At SAM HUR Custons my
Junk was taken alongside Jun: No.T.479111, which was lying alongside
the Japanese trawler No.5 No.6 then went out and returned in about an
hour with another juni, unlicensed. This juni: was then placed alongside
my junk. The cargo of my junt and the other junk was then taken on
board No.6 trawler. All persons on my junk and the other junk were
ordered onto Junk No.T.4791H. Junk No.T.4791H was then told to sail
EWGY. It was then about 14.00 hours. At about 19.00 hours when the
juni was passing H..8. "Robin" at CHAI AT we were called alongside. A
