I have the honour to enclose herewith six copies.
of each of the following documents relating to the draft
estimates of revenue and expenditure for the financial year

1941-42 which are being introduced into Legislative Council

on 16th January, 1941:·
(1) Draft estimates of revenue and expenditure for
1941-42.

(2) A memorandum by the Financial Secretary on the
financial position of the Colony for the years
1939, 1940-41 and on the estimates for 1941-42.
(3) A memorandum by the Director of Public Works on
Public Works Extraordinary.
These documents have been in the hands of members
of the Legislative Council since 9th January, 1941.

In accordance with Colonial Regulation No. 267 I
Enclosure No.2submit for Your Lordship's approval a Schedule showing details
of certain posts which are either quite new or, where similar
posts already exist, additional to the approved establishment
for 1940-41, together with details of certain posts the salary
scales of which have been revised. In this Schedule only
posts carrying either a sterling salary or a dollar salary the
maximum of which is not less than $1,000 are listed.
