The Colonial Secretary, Hong Kong, presents
his compliments to the Under Secretary of State for
the Colonies, London, and with reference to the
Colonial Secretary's secret note of 23rd May, 1940,
on the subject of returns of war materials exported
to China from Hong Kong, is directed to forward
herewith seven copies of the return for the period
19th May, 1940, to 1st June, 1940.
