The gentlemen whom I have asked to serve
on the informal Economic Advisory Committee are
Sir V. Grayburn, Mr. C.Rogers and Professor Robertson
of the Hong Kong University.
I discussed them
with Caine before he left:

Brains, I think. They are going to be helpful:
Grayburn always is, if responsibly appealed to.
Sloss and he made the Income Tax Committee,
so called, face facts yesterday and they have
unanimously agreed to all four measures. viz.
Property Tax, Profits (Private Businesses and
Corporations) Taxes and Salaries Tax.
