One thousand nine hundred and
thirty nine BETWEEN PAUL EDWIN WILLIAMS of 530
Avenida Presidente Roque Saenz Pena, Buenos Aires,
Argentine, as Trustee for and on behalf of Compania
Internacional de Colonizacion a Corporation about to
be formed under the laws of the State of Argentine
(hereinafter called "C.I.C.") of the one part and LINSON
DZAU of Hong Kong Hotel, Victoria in the Colony of
Hong Kong as Trustee for and on behalf of the South
American Chinese Association Limited a Corporation
about to be incorporated under the laws of the Colony
of Hong Kong (hereinafter called "Saca") of the other
part WHEREAS the said Paul Edwin Williams is
entitled to an exclusive concession for obtaining
landing permits for admission of Chinese colonists
into Paraguay in South America for a period of ten years
the benefit of which concession will in due course be
assigned to C.I.C. AND WHEREAS the Compania Internacional
de Colonizacion is desirous of appointing Saca its sole
agent in the Far East for the purpose of selling landing
permits and obtaining Chinese colonists for admission
into Paraguay NOW IT IS HEREBY AGREED between the
parties hereto as follows:-
1. As consideration for Compania Internacional de
Colonizacion agreeing to appoint Saca its sole agent
in the Far East in manner hereinafter appearing Saca hereby
agrees to pay Compania Internacional de Colonizacion the
sum of One hundred thousand Dollars Hong Kong Currency,
Fifty thousand Dollars of which is payable immediately
on the signing hereof and the balance of Fifty thousand
Dollars will be paid on or before Thirty-first day of
December One thousand nine hundred and forty.
