old-fashioned apparatus, and the new model farm and labourers'
cottages, with electrical installation and all the modern machinery
of an up-to-date agicultural establishment.
An immense number of visitors from the British Dominions and
Colonies and from foreign countries appeared at the Royal Show, and
many of them frankly expressed their amazement at the vast range
of the show, and the superb appearance of the animals exhibited.
Practically every Eurpéan country sent official representatives,
and at the King's suggestion visitors from overseas were invited
to go over the Royal Farms at Windsor. Liany foreign visitors
bought stock. It was reported at the conclusion of the show that
the delegation from Soviet Russia had bought eight hundred head,
and other foreign buyers included representatives from the United
States of America, Denmark, Germany, and the argentine.
