by a Judge. I would also suggest that in
order that Judges and magistrates should have
to take the appropriate oaths once only during
their careers in the Colony, the word "first"
should be inserted before "acceptance of
office" in Section 6 of the Principal Ordinance.
Similarly, the word "first" might be inserted
also before "acceptance of office" in Section 5.
Subject to considerations being given to the
foregoing suggestions, I approve of the draft
the
Bill being introduced into/Legislative Council.
