In the second paragraph you stated that the Japanese had also insisted on using their discretion in such matters. As the quarrel is still clearly the legal aspect of the matter and the impropriety of British demands for adjournment for production of evidence, it would be useful if I could be furnished with one or more instances in which the Japanese authorities
had refused execution of Warrant of Chinese Court for
reason given.
