The Waichiaopu has received the British
Emin say's memoranium of January 24th regarding the
Japanese allegation that a Chinese destroyer flotilla
was falsely wearing the British flag. The responsible
authority was asked to investigate and now replies
stating that the smell azcs ammunitic used by the
Kwangtung flotilla about Cctober 25th last was of the 79
type, and does not correspond in calibre with the
originally reported installe tion of double action
machine guns; the enemy statement is therefore an
obvious fabrication with an ulterior object.
