Party in negotiations with members of the WHAMPOA
Clique in forming the Shanghai Kuomintang

Communist Resist Japan Joint Committee. The 1st
meeting was held in room No.609, Eastern Hotel on
July 16th. At the said meeting it was decided to
elect 7 Standing committee-men composing of 4
members of the Kuomintang and 3 members of the
Communist Party. They proposed to publish
propaganda matter first.
