Intelligence report from Hong Kong. 10/10/
Japanese making preparations prior to the invasion of
Kwangtung. The Japanese Ronins and spy TAKEJI TSUDA in Hong
Kong are in receipt of secret instructions from the Japan-
ese Navy to be ready by the 6th instant, to leave Hong Kong
and board gunboats to act as guides and interpreters. Ishina
proceeded to macau with the Italian Consul on the 5th, had
discussion with the Macau Governor for several days in
succession. The topic of conversation was use Lapp
Island as a temporary military station and to obtain an
understanding from the Macau authorities.

authorities regarding the relief of the enemy in its attack
on Kwangtung.
