momental water gate; its large lakes serving duel or trouble
purposes; its large park areas; its living archeological
museum; its wide thoroughfares; its surrounding and central
hills; its many li-chee orchards; its water ways planned
for bathing, boating, drainage régulation and as a source
of power derived from the tides; considering all these
elements, it is seen that Whampoa Port is an exceedingly efficient and beautiful city worthy of the inspiration of Dr. Sun Yat Sen who suggested it, and of Mayor Tsang Yang
Fu who is starting to materialise it.
