For the information of Government, as a result of
the latest information, obtained for the Annual Assessment now
being made, I propose to put the new assessment of this property at approximately $3,000 less.

The position is that the legal remedy provided has
not been used. The assessment, arrived at on the comparative
basis, was considered to be fair and reasonable at the time it
was made. No re-consideration can be given except at the Annual
Assessment now being made but which will not come into force
until the 1st July, 1939.
This appeal should not have been made.
