General Order Amendment No. 44
The following amendments are hereby made in General Orders :-
C.S.O. No. 5249/1934c.
1. In Appendix VI:-Part 2, the posts of Superintendent of Imports and Exports, Chairman of the Urban Council, Director of Education, Postmaster General, First Police Magistrate, Principal Assistant Colonial Secretary, Chief Assistant to the Secretary for Chinese Affairs and Senior Assistant Colonial Treasurer are deleted and the following added:
Cadet officers, Class I £1,450-50-1,600.

2. In General Order No. 90 the words ",subject to the exception specified in General Order No. 91,' are inserted after "shall" in the second line.
3. General Order No. 91 is deleted and the following substituted:
G.O. 91. Any Cadet officer below the First Class who acts continuously for a period of over two months in any of the following posts:-Chairman of the Urban Council, Principal Assistant Colonial Secretary, First Magistrate, Director of Education, Postmaster General or Superintendent of Imports and Exports shall receive acting pay at the rate of £200 per annum in addition to his ordinary salary.
