In the course of your

confidential (2) despatch of the 3rd of

October, 1938, regarding the representa-

tions made to you by the European

Masters on the subject of the new salary

scales, you mentioned that it would be

necessary to make a similar revision in

the case of European Mistresses in the

event of your recommendation on behalf

of the Masters being accepted. We are
