I have been here for 11 years. I am a fish dealer.
At about 22.00 hours on 17th September, 1939, while
outside my shop I saw a junk on fire in DEEP BAY it was nearly
midway between NIM WAN (
稔
湾
) and SHE HOW (E'Z 12 ).
I did not see it drift into DEEP BAY.
I do not know how long it was on fire but I watched
same for over 2 hours.
I did not see any other craft near the burning junk.
No one came to my place from the junk.
