L. K. George, Acting Sub-Inspector,
Officer in Charge, No.3 Police Launch, states:-
At 22.00 hours on the 22nd September, 1939, the Officer
in Charge, Ping Shan, boarded No.3 Launch at Castle Peak with CHAU HANG TSAN, master of Fishing Junk No.884 H.C. with instruction for me to take him to Deep Bay for the purpose of pointing out the position where his junk was first boarded and set on fire on the night of the 17th September, 1939. No.3 Launch proceeded to Deep Bay arriving at NIM WAN at 13.00 hours where CHAU HANG TSAN pointed out the position where his junk was boarded. Bearings were then taken by me, which read as
