I agree that the balance of the expenditure

incurred on behalf of the Czechoslovak nationals described

in your despatch under reference should be met by this

Government since it cannot be recovered from other sources,

and I have therefore to forward the attached draft for

Shanghai $5,499.20 being the equivalent of Hong Kong $1,964.00

at 280.
