I am directed by Mr. Secretary MacDonald to refer to your Circular letter No. F.16225 of the 28th of September, regarding Economy in Public Expenditure, and to request you to inform the Lords Commissioners of the Treasury that, in accordance with the request contained in that letter, a careful examination has been made of the services for which
provision is made in the following Votes:-
