Cicks 31-/38. States University authorities have agreed proposals contained in enclosure to 2/-/38.
The proposals set out in the Colonial Secretary's letter to the University authorities were that the available suplus of the fund, viz. £732,
should be utilised for the award of 12 Scholarships
in the five years beginning with the academic year
1939-40, and that the position should be reviewed at
the end of that period. These proposals have now
been agreed to by the University authorities, the only
modification being that the position is to be reviewed
at the end of three years instead of five.
