Other press reports state that many merchants from
Formosa have established branches in Canton, and that
several or the forwarding companies are shortly to do so,
in particular esara, Jugimoto of Takao, and the Nippon
Tauun, who are stated already to have established several
branches and a staff of 400 in Central China. Apparently
