Article 5.
Shinto or Buddhist) sects or denominations
may amalgamate or dissolve upon obtaining the sanction of the
competent Minister of State.

nation shall be dissolved upon cancellation of/sanction for
its establishment.
Article 6.
When it is desired to establish a (Buddhist)
temple or a church the persons establishing it shall submit the
temple or church regulations, and with the exception of
churches coming under sub-heading (5) of paragraph 2, shall
first obtain the consent of the superintendent priest or the
director of the denomination; in the case of churches which
desire to have the status of a juridical person, they shall
also state clearly the reasons; and they must obtain the sanction
of the Governor of the Prefecture.
The following particulars shall be stated
in the regulations governing a temple or a church.

worshipped or the Buddha enshrined.

The name of the (Shinto or Buddhist) sect

or denomination to which it belongs.
In the case of a church which does not
belong to a (Shinto or Buddhist) sect or to a denomi-
nation, instead of the particulars prescribed under
(4) above, particulars of the name of the religion
professed, an outline of its doctrine, and particulars
in regard to the qualifications and names, the
appointment and dismissal, and the resignation, of
its preachers.
