With reference to the letter from this
Department of the 5th October 1938, I am
directed by Mr. Secretary MacDonald to transmit
to you a copy of a despatch from the Governor
of Hong Kong forwarding a statement of arms
and ammunition which passed through the Colony
in transit to China during the second half of
1938.
2. The Secretary of State would be obliged
if the statement could be forwarded to the
Board of Trade after perusal in the Foreign
office.
