thus trade in the blood of China, really believe that this is

isolationism or neutrality?

And youth of Great Britain! Your nation's guilt

is equally serious. British possessions sell to Japan

34% of all the rubber she needs, and 41% of all the cotton

she buys.

Great Britain controls 30% and America 32% of all

those raw materials indispensable to Japanese aggression.

Great Britain and America each absorb about a quarter of

Japan's total exports. Together their possessions make up 51% of the foreign market of Japan, without which her

economy would face prompt collapse.

Without Anglo-American trade, without your raw products,

without your technique and maintenance of Japanese industries,

the Japanese juggernaut could not move in China more than a
