self-governing Dominion entitling the

holder to practise veterinary surgery in

such Dominion provided that such

qualification is recognised by the Governor

in Council,

any person who possesses anpotem

veterinary qualification recognised by the

Governor in Council.

4.5. Were such a Bill to become law

in the Colony it would be necessary to

consider the position of veterinary

surgeons already practising in the Colony

who did not possess the qualifications

stipulated under the Ordinance, since,

provided there were no abuse in the

practise of veterinary surgery in the

FURTHER ACTION.

Colony, it would clearly be unjust to

deprive such persons of their livelihood.

I would therefore draw your attention in

this connection to the provisions of

Section 4(4) of the Mauritius Ordinance,
