As a question of principle is involved, I send

this on. If it were not for the objection that other

sporting and social clubs might claim similar

assistance from the government, 1 should not be

disposed to object to the Governor's proposal,

since the government apparently runs little risk

and obtains a rair return for its money under the

scheme.
