Many thanks for your letter of 22nd instant (53922/38). This is just to confirm in writing that we do agree to the arrangement whereby the Chinese Invoice Officer in Hong Kong is to issue passports to Chinese nationals and that the second paragraph of our official letter to the Foreign Office (Gen.32/26/3) is to be regarded as
cancelled.
